Jeffco ARts and Jeffco Arts Shows
Visual and Performing arts education plays an integral role in the Jeffco K-12 curriculum, promoting creativity, cognitive development, emotional intelligence, and vital life skills. It also contributes to a well-rounded education that prepares students for personal and professional success while fostering a deeper appreciation for the arts and culture.
Jeffco Schools Foundation recognizes the importance of creative arts programming and strives to ensure every Jeffco student is impacted by its benefits. As well as providing substantial grants for music, theatre, and visual arts, Jeffco Schools Foundation is honored to fund Jeffco Public Schools student artists in the annual Jeffco art shows. Special thanks and recognition go to our forever Jeffco Arts Heroes, Joe & Betty Wetherbee (pictured), for their enduring legacy of investment in Jeffco Arts through the 'Betty & Joe Wetherbee Fund for Music and Arts.' |
